                  MEDITATION

Creative and enjoyable techniques to still the mind and connect with the deeper Self.  
Meditation is an excellent way for reducing stress and encouraging creativity.  The sessions will include Yogic and Tantric techniques of concentration, oftne focusing on the chakras, the elements and the senses.

                        THE TEACHING

I teach Hatha Yoga influenced by my personal path of Kashmir Shaivism and Shakti sadhana. Over the years I have experienced many styles of Yoga but I was never able to embrace one specific school of teaching as they all seemed to limit my own development. 
I owe all of my teaching to the blessing of "Shakti" the unlimited Cosmic creative force and to "Lord Shiva" the unlimited consciousness for giving me the passion to pursue my practice with faith. Every day is a different day, every lesson is a different lesson. I am no more than an instrument for Shakti to manifest itself yet I work with an under-current structure binding the asanas together, allowing the mind to reach a state of equilibrium (samatha) and Peace (Shanti).

The classes are taught creatively as a series of asanas of various strength to balance the doshas and release inner tension, while focusing on the flow/control of Prana.
The meditative awareness encourages the connection with the higher Self when practicing. Different techniques of breathing are taught over the weeks and are intended to restore harmony and encourage self-development. Each class ends with a relaxation that trains you to let go of all tensions and induces a state of peace and well-being. Regular practice gradually helps you to integrate yoga in all aspects of your life (sadhana), and as you develop a meditative awareness you realize the quality of your true nature.

"Rashu Das" a very talented Baul musician from West Bengal that I met during my last Indian trip. His energy was pure Peace, words were not needed.
